2017 Haltom City Memorial Day Ceremony
NEW TRINITY CEMETERY in Haltom City, Texas
Presented by Haltom City and American Legion Post 655
Monday, June 29, 2017

New Trinity Cemetery is the final resting place for Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korean and Vietnam Veterans. The Haltom City Museum has a list of the names and locations of all of the veterans buried there. The names were recorded by a Boy Scout who took on the task to earn his Eagle Scout badge. Lots of history here!!!

Following the traditional Memorial Day Service the Honorable Mayor of the City of Haltom City, David Averitt and the American Legion Post 655 Commander expressed their appreciation to Eagle Scout candidate Dillon Olson for his work on the flagpole base. Members of Boy Scouts of America, Longhorn Council Troop 205 along with other Boy and Girl Scouts are appreciated for their assistance at this location
